We reserved tickets to attend the Brigham City Temple Open House the day they became available and made plans to attend as an extended family last night. I had heard a rumor that it was taking two hours because it was the last week, but we still decided to go. It is such a neat experience to teach our girls about the importance of the temples and let them feel the Spirit that is there in the Lord's house. There was a wait, but it was a beautiful night and we enjoyed the company of the Olenslagers, Mimi & Grandpa, and Jakey & Marcee.
Lila was adorable during the video and was looking at the pamphlet with pictures of the temple and asking about each room and then noticing them if they appeared in the video. Ellie loved holding Ema's hand and walking through.
We took pictures as we were waiting in line which I'm glad we did because we didn't get out of the temple until 9:30 pm and then we hit traffic and didn't get home until 11 pm, but it was worth it. Anyway, we didn't get a group shot, but we are so glad that everyone came with us!
